Hand driven Technical ladder made purposely for maintenance and technical intervention, opening cargo holds and/or reaching service points of parked aircrafts at airport hangar. The ramp is made of powder-coated steel after getting treated with sandblasting, ramp width 600 mm; steps made of knurled almond aluminum sheets, tread 256 mm, riser 200 mm. Handrail height 1000 mm. The upper platform is made of knurled almond aluminum sheets as well, thickness 3+2 mm, with non-slip features, dimensions 700×750 mm. On the access platform, there are 3 foldable handrails, telescopic type with a chain lock on the free side. The handrails height is 1000mm, they are totally made of aluminum.

The edges height = 150 mm. On the external portion of the central handrail is fitted soft rubber bumper in order to avoid eventual damages that may be caused the aircraft body in case of contact. The handrail release system is equipped with an interlocking tooth which – in case of being in raised position, get inserted into the special housing avoiding accidental release. The ladder is equipped with a hand operated lever mechanism which allows its stabilization during the phase of use and movement during the positioning phases. When disabled, the lever mechanism allows the lowering of the rear wheel and therefore the movement of the ladder, when actuated, it determines the lifting of the rear wheel and the stabilization of the ladder, securing it to the ground through the rubber supports.
