The potable water units are designed to supply potable water to aircraft according to the highest standards in terms of safety, reliability and hygiene. Built on a sturdy steel chassis, they are equipped with an open cab on the left-hand side and a 3 mm thick embossed finish stainless steel AISI 304 tank with a Ø 500 manhole and a 2″ ball valve for complete draining. Depending on the model, the load capacity ranges from 2000 to 3600 litres. On the front right of the frame there is a platform which can be fixed or with a lift system with a maximum lifting height of 1800 mm or 3000 mm, the platform can be equipped with anti-collision sensors (ultrasonic and/or antennas). The vehicle is powered by a Perkin sensors (ultrasonic and/or antennas).
The vehicle is powered by a Perkins 404D-22 diesel engine 37.3 kW/50 bhp @2800 rpm positioned on the right-hand side of the frame. Hydrostatic transmission. Hydraulic power steering. The water system consists of a stainless steel transfer pump with a flow rate of 90/min, a digital litre counter with a preset automatic stop, a plastic filter with 70 μl stainless steel cartridge, a transfer pressure regulator, automatic backflow, and 4-metre long hose with standard aircraft coupling.
