The towed potable water units are designed to supply potable water to aircraft according to the highest standards in terms of safety, reliability and hygiene. They are built on a sturdy chassis equipped with a fixed rear axle and a rigid front axle connected to a rotating bearing coupling with tow bar and hook. The axle is equipped with a brake pad which activates by raising the tow bar in a vertical position and which is automatically operated in case of accidental unhooking. 3 mm thick stainless steel AISI 304 tank, with Ø 500 manhole and 2″ ball valve for complete draining.
Depending on the model, the load capacity ranges from 300 to 2000 lift with a maximum height of 1600 mm and a hydraulic propulsion system consisting of a motorised wheel. The vehicle is powered by a YANMAR L100V6FA1T1CAID diesel single-cylinder 6.8 KW/9.2 Hp @ 3600 rpm engine.
The water system consists of a stainless steel transfer pump with a flow rate of 90/min, a digital litre counter with a preset automatic stop, a plastic filter with 70 μl stainless steel cartridge, a transfer pressure regulator, automatic backflow, and 4-metre long hose with standard aircraft coupling.
